Roade Community Choir (RCC) is governed by the above regulations.

RCC holds data on:

i) current members;

ii) organisations with which it has links for operational purposes; and

iii) supporters.

This data is held on the basis of legitimate interest and consists of a complete and accurate record of members and supporters. The data is held in order to facilitate communication, enable administration, including financial administration, of the fund.

The data held consists of email and postal addresses together with phone numbers for members and third parties. The data may also include photographs of individuals and groups taken at public events.

Every effort is made to ensure that the list is as accurate as possible. This list is used for no other purposes than those stated above and will not be communicated to any other organisation, unless required by law.

The organisation will review the list by the end of May each year and remove from it the name of any individual or organisation that has not been contacted within the previous twelve months.

If any individual or organisation wishes their data to be removed from the list or does not give their permission for their data to be included, then their name and associated data will be deleted.

This policy will be made available to all members and third parties on request and will be published on the RCC website.

We as a group aim to treat all members of The Choir fairly and equally, taking into account any special needs that people might have.

We are committed to ensuring that no person within its involvement suffers discrimination because of disability, race, sex, colour, sexual orientation, religion or political beliefs, marital status, ethnic or national origin.

The aim of this statement is to ensure that no member receives less favourable treatment on any grounds.
